One of our favorite guests, please take a seat as we get a peek into the works of none other than the enchanting Tiffany Shepis. What did you learn from starting out with Troma?

Troma! What did I not learn from Troma is the real question. I was a part of it at such a young age, and I really fell in love with it for that reason. I learned promotion, distribution and of course every single thing about the Toxic Avenger! Working with Troma is also like having this crazy family that never leaves! No matter how big the budget is of the movie you are on or what high society person you are talking too…inevitably Troma comes up; and usually it is with massively high praise. Plus even if you hate Uncle Lloyd you can’t help but Love Pat K so you are stuck with Troma for life!

Candice Berryman/ Terror Time: You have obviously read a great number of scripts, was there a scene that made you think, “Are you serious”?

Tiffany Shepis-Tretta: In almost every one of my movies…just kidding! Oddly enough, I trust my directors. Even if I feel a scene is going to be a cluster, I just hold my breath and hope for the best; and it has worked out. When we shot The Violent Kind for the Butcher Brothers, I could not have been happier. There was a moment however, when the director told me to “lay there and open your mouth and a light is going to shoot out of it all alien like”; my trust was not definite. Turns out, the director was completely right and to this day it is one of my favorite films I have made.

TT: Wow! The experiences you’ve had are amazing! And you’ve been a part of projects that involved classic monsters such as Dracula and Frankenstein. If given the opportunity, which classic horror tale would you have liked to play a part in?

TST: Oh, man there are too many. I would have loved to have been in Brides of Dracula. THOSE CHICKS WERE SO HOT! Peter Cushing was pretty dope as well. Although, now that I write this; I do have a superior fondness for Frankenstein and the Wolfman. Damn I do not know…give me all of the above!

TT: ok, fair enough! All of the above. Do you have any plans to start directing?

TST: I am not sure. I get that question a lot and my answer changes constantly. At times I feel like I could do it, it would be hard, but I would be good at it! At other times, I feel as though I don’t have the patience that directing requires. So, I guess I would say that I am not interested today…but come back and ask me tomorrow!

TT: (laughs) We will definitely keep checking! What did you learn from starting out with Troma?
