Finally ‘Twin Peaks’ gets a premier date!

Twin Peaks

‘Twin Peaks’ fans have been waiting a long time for this news. Ever since the show was announced there have been some teasers but no hard details until now. The show will premier May 21st at 9pm.

Nerdist reports Network president David Nevins announced the news at the Television Critics Association 2017 winter press tour, revealing that the long-in-the-works new season will debut with a two-hour premiere on Sunday, May 21 at 9 p.m. Additionally, the third and fourth episodes of the new season will be available on Showtime’s streaming and on demand platforms that same night. The 2017 season will be 18 hours in total. Now that’s some damn fine news!

“David Lynch is one of the great film masters of my lifetime,” he told reporters, “and I think that the version of Twin Peaks you’re going to see is the pure heroin version of David Lynch and I am very excited to be putting that out.”
