“… You Know You’re Dead Already.” Marilyn Manson Kills in “Let Me Make You a Martyr” Long-time shock rocker (and remarkably talented actor) Marilyn Manson shows off just how wicked he can be in a new sneak peek at his upcoming film “Let Me Make You a Martyr.”Manson was cast as the menacing hitman Pope in the harrowing crime thriller, which sees its world premiere at the Fantasia Film Festival in Montreal this coming Friday, July 22nd. Rolling Stone Magazine received an exclusive clip featuring Manson “playing” with one of his targets and it is absolutely chilling.

image2Tension runs high in the short two-minute scene in which Pope and his mark exchange threats from the opposite sides of a bedroom door. “Look, you would have shot me if you were man enough when I walked through the fucking door,” Manson snarls. “Let’s just get this shit over with. You know you’re dead already.”

Manson was recruited onto the project by friend and fellow actor Mark Boone Junior, who appeared with him previously on “Sons of Anarchy” in which Manson played Ron Tully, a member of the Aryan Brotherhood who proves to be a dangerous force to be reckoned with. Boone suggested that Manson join “Let Me Make You a Martyr” to portray his fellow assassin- in-crime.

“Mark brought me onto the project,” Manson says. “We were friends from Sons of Anarchy. He’s sort of my unwanted mentor. He’s tells me what to do. He’s always encouraged me, but he’s very bossy about it. He says things like ‘You gotta do this, motherfucker. You’ll like this.” After reading the script and fully realizing the amount of genuine terror his character brings to the unfortunate victims of “… Martyr’s” world, Manson joined the project.

“Let Me Make You a Martyr” definitely looks promising. Check out the trailer below and see for yourself. We certainly wouldn’t want to make it onto Pope’s hit list.

“Let Me Make You a Martyr” premieres Friday, July 22nd and is planned for a wide release later this year.
