Pennywise is back to scaring you again from underground

Everyone’s favorite clown Pennywise is coming back in the remake of Stephen King’s ‘It’. The film is being directed by Andrés Muschietti and will be in theaters Sept. 8th, 2017.

We reported on new images hitting online the other day and it appears the new image released is just a better high res image of what we saw the other day. The good news is clearly we are starting to get new assets from the film being released. We know they had some private screenings going on last week in select cities.

IT (2017)

Director Andrés Muschietti (Mama) says this monster unsettles precisely because he doesn’t lurk in the shadows. “Pennywise shows up, he’s front and center, and he does his show. He has an act,” Muschietti says. “So it’s weird all the time, and every little thing implies a further threat.” Watch out for his punchlines. They’ll knock you dead.

I really like the new look of Pennywise. It feels like he’s taken on a bit of old school feel as well.

Pretty creepy transformation.
