Amazing Fan Art!

Breaking through the airwaves in new horror frenzy is that a new addition of Saw is currently in the works for an October 2017 release!

According to Variety, the film currently does not hold a title or storyline and is being spearheaded by the Spierig brothers, Michael and Peter. The film will be produced by Twisted Pictures.

The Spierig brothers broke into the horror scene with Undead, a low-budget zombie horror-comedy film which came out in 2003. The film won a prize for Best Visual Effects at the Australian Film Institute.

The new flick will be the eighth installment of the highly popular franchise that brought James Wan and Leigh Whannell into the horror scene. Ironically enough, it was also in 2003 that both Wan and Whannell created a shorter version of Saw to pitch it as a potential full length feature film.

Needless to say, the franchise has grossed over $873 million dollars in the box office worldwide. The plots for all the films are based around a sadistic psychopath that goes by the name of “Jigsaw” who tortures victims through various “games” and the quest is simple. Make it out of his torture devices and you will live.

As further details emerge surrounded plot, cast and upcoming news, Terror Time will keep you updated!

Until then, make sure your doors are locked folks! But, if you hear the eerie screech of a tricycle and there are no kids around……
