Turkish horror film Baskin will soon terrorize American movie fans thanks to IFC Midnight, which has acquired all U.S. rights following the pic’s TIFF 2015 premiere. From first time feature director Can Evrenol, Baskin tells the tale of five cops working the graveyard shift who get called to investigate a disturbance out in the middle of nowhere. Without backup, the policemen wind up in a labyrinthine ruin that conceals the blood soaked den of a terrifying cult, plunging them into a bloody world of violent madness.

Produced by Muge Buyuktalas of MO Films, and executive produced by Todd Brown of XYZ Films and Mike Hostench, Baskin stars Gorkem Kasal, Ergun Kuyucu, Mehmet Cerrahoglu, Sabahattin Yakut, Mehmet Fatih Dokgoz, Muharrem Bayrak. The deal was brokered by Nate Bolotin from XYZ Films on behalf of the filmmakers, and by Arianna Bocco for IFC. International sales will be handled by the Salt company.
