If you think about it, it makes sense. The only real way to get rid of zombies, is well, carbon copies of ourselves that can’t die in non-human form. Enter, robots. Imagine a whole fiend of Robo-Cops banishing the walking dead while you enjoy your oven baked chicken from the comfort of your country home.

Well, that might not be what HUSH’s director Mike Flanagan vision is to his new film, INHERIT THE EARTH, and as details are a bit scarce, the plot is up for grabs. What we do know is that Flanagan has been tasked to take a fresh perspective into the columbian sci-fi development script and centers around a servant protector robot that is tasked to protect a young girl. The film will be produced by Platinum Dunes who also helmed QUIJA 2 with OCULUS producer, Trevor Macy also set as producer. Have we mentioned there will be robots and zombies?

Robots, the film was originally being developed by Michael Bay’s Platinum Dunes, but then Sony picked up the rights and changed the name to Inherit The Earth.
