Nightmare Cinema – Will Screen Footage At Monsterpalooza

The new horror anthology film Nightmare Cinema will screen footage this weekend at Son of Monsterpalooza in Burbank, CA. Directors Mick Garris, Joe Dante, David Slade, Ryuhei Kitamura and Alejandro Brugues each direct a segment of the new film from Nice Guy Productions and Cinelou.

We were excited when we heard about this project at the beginning of the year. Mick Garris is a master at bringing filmmakers together for great projects like his ‘Masters of Horror’ series which our very own Tom Holland directed an episode. Nightmare Cinema continues that collaboration with fellow filmmakers.

The directors will take part in a panel at Son of Monsterpalooza after fans get to see some scenes from the film. The film takes place at a classic old school style movie theater called The Rialto. The film follows a group of movie goers who are drawn into the theater for different reasons but all see their fears come to life on the big screen and it’s all being run by a super creepy projectionist who is played by Mickey Rourke.

So if you are going to the Son of Monsterpalooza convention in Burbank, CA this weekend make sure you to see these directors at their panel and get a glimpse of Nightmare Cinema.
