Filmmaker Tricia Lee is currently enjoying the sites and sounds of the Cannes film festival as she showcases her latest project, One Drop.  The film has been described as a creature feature that is anything but your run-of-the-mill monster movie.

Presented by Frontieres Genre Co-Production Market and the Fantasia International Film Festival, scenes from the elevated genre film One Drop will be screened as part of the Goes To Cannes Marche Program on May 15th.  This marks the inaugural partnership between Frontieres and the Cannes Marche, presenting works-in-progress to potential sales agents, distributors and financiers.

One Drop is the third feature film brought to you by director Tricia Lee and writer Corey Brown.  The film stars Lara Gilchrist (Battlestar Galactica), Benjamin Arthur (Working the Engels), Torri Higginson (Stargate: Atlantis), Julian Richings (Supernatural, Man of Steel).  It is co-produced by Chris Lukchardt and Executive Produced by Brigitte Kingsley and Michael Baker.

One Drop is an elevated genre horror film about a single mother who wakes up in a medical facility to find that everyone is dead and she’s nine months pregnant.

The project was first presented in Brussels at the Frontieres Market, in 2015.  It is now in post-production and seeking distribution.  The film will be ready for an American Film Market premiere in November.

Best of luck, Tricia!
