It looks like we get the news from the man himself: John Carpenter says that Halloween Kills will be delayed.
It makes sense since the fate of movie theaters doing grand re-openings is up in the air and a great unknown. John Carpenter and David Gordon Green have released a joint statement on John Carpenter’s twitter.
While we have over a year to get our Halloween Kills fix, we will have to be content with re-watching the Green-McBride Halloween and perhaps some viewings of Judy Greer’s Hulu original film Good Boy. I, for one, will be re-watching all of the original Halloween franchise, a lot of Arrested Development and the brilliant Righteous Gemstones. Probably finally get around to watching Knives Out. *Sigh* It’s gonna be a long year and three months!
The teaser trailer for Halloween Kills is pretty awesome!
