An old friend once told me something that gave me great comfort. Something he read. He said that Mozart, Beethoven and Chopin never died. They simply became music. So I hope you will enjoy this last piece.” ~Ford (HBO-WESTWORLD)

If ever there was a series that comfortably commanded attention and a devotion to detail, it is HBO series WESTWORLD. Each week the plot truly thickened. Storylines started to criss cross and as a viewer, a mere bathroom break risked loosing your place. No-one was forced to watch so there was an undeniable gratification in being so involved with the depth of this series. And Last night, bathroom breaks included hitting pause because it was a firework  episode that tied up some loose ends and set a high level anticipation for season 2.

We not only find out The Man in Black’s full legacy that confirmed a long-running theory that Ed Harris’ grim gunslinger and the more youthful park newbie William (Jimmi Simpson) are the same person, and the show traced their separate adventures some 30 years apart.

But, to no surprise, our floating nucleus to all, Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood) comes full circle on who she is but not before taking on The Man in Black via hand-to-hand combat. While the episode was one of the most intense narratives we have ever witnessed, the constant “in-motion” evolution of the character, Dolores, was the absolute show-stopper. Till the very end, we never knew exactly where she was going to “end up” in this seasons conclusion.

HBO did not disappoint and we eagerly await to see what they have in store for us for Season Two.
